RUBY - Risk Understanding By Yourself for Diabetes and Its Complications

Overall Concept

We propose to evaluate the reach, adoption, implementation, effectiveness and required maintenance of an ongoing web-based self-assessment tool for the general public to assess their risk of diabetes. The assessment tool was developed by the Asia Diabetes Foundation (www.adf.org.hk) supported by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the World Health Organization (Western Pacific Regional Office), in response to the Western Pacific Declaration for Diabetes (https://www2.wpro.who.int/wpdd)
